Activities
Activities refers to records, in the form of either tasks, events, calls, emails, or interactions sales representatives engage in their daily work. With the help of Thynk, sales representatives can easily keep up with their accounts, campaigns, contacts, and bookings by means of tracking their have-done list and to-do list.
New Task
Track action items for yourself and others by creating a task. In the above screen, “New Task” tab is being highlighted.
Click on the purple “Add” button to begin creating a task.
Fill in 1) Subject, 2) Due Date, 3) Assignee, 4) Name of Contact person and 5) Account related to the Contact.
Click on each of the search icon
to see a dropdown list with the most recent search results and the option to create a new record. Finally, click the purple "Save" button when all relevant information has been filled in.
New Event
Create, update, and track meetings via Events. Begin by clicking into the New Event tab.
Fill in 1) Subject, 2) Description, 3) Start and End dates, 4) Name of Contact person and 5) Account related to the Contact.
Click on each of the search icon

to see a dropdown list with the most recent search results and the option to create a new record.
Finally, click the purple "Save" button when all relevant information has been filled in.
Log a Call
Use 'Log a Call' to save sales representatives' communications with their business contacts.
Steps to logging a call is similar to the above mentioned process.
The fields to fill in includes 1) Subject, 2) Comments, 3) Name of Contact person and 4) Account related to the Contact. Once you 'Log a Call', it immediately shows under the 'Past Activity'.
Do remember to click on the purple "Save" button when all relevant information has been filled in.
Email
Sales representatives will like the convenience of being able to send emails via Thynk. As long as the email address is valid, users can send rich-text email to contacts and leads, with attachments, directly from the record (account, contact, and/or quote/booking) they are on.

Activity Timeline
Upcoming Activities and Activity History are tracked in the activity timeline. To sort a list of open and overdue activities, use the timeline settings

to select
what is visible based on date range, activities to show, activity type and order of activities (oldest first or newest first). Finally click "Apply & Save" to keep the settings. "Apply" is for current view only.
