List Views

See a list of your records based on your own filters by creating a List View. 

A List View is a simple and very effective tool of Salesforce, which allows you to create a list of accounts, contacts, bookings, etc. yourself without having to create a report.  Once created, the List View is saved on your Home Page so you can access the latest infomation without having to recreate it. 

A List View helps you with your sales and operational activities - examples: list all accounts or contact in a specific location to schedule appointments for a sales trip, list of all MYCE quotes with future dates that don't have guest room bookings, or show me a list of contacts who have birthdays this month, so I can send them a birthday message. 



You can create, edit and delete List Views.


It is very simple to create a new List View. First click on 'Accounts' on your home page navigation bar on the top of screen. 

  1. Click on the Settings icon (see below)
  2. Select “New”  from the drop down menu Create New Listview
  3. Type in a name for your new list  
  4. Choose who might be able to see your list view: only you, a group or everyone
  5. Finally, click on 'Save'Create New Listview2
