Where to find your sales goals
How to enter property goals
For companies with multiple properties, it is possible to enter sales goals by Property in order to pace your sales team. Once you enter these sales goals into Thynk, they will also appear in certain reports and dashboards.
To enter goals by property, follow these steps:
1. Click on App Launcher
2. Type "Sales Goal" and click on it. This adds a tab on your Home Page called 'Sales Goals'
3. Click on the down arrow on the right to see all sales goals
4. Click on 'All'
5. Here you can scan through the sales goals to make sure it doesn't already exist. Click on 'New'
6. Click on the 'Property' field to select from the list
7. Click on the correct property
8. Click on 'Start Date'
9. Using the calendar, select the start date of the sales goal time frame.
10. Click on 'End Date' and again, use the calendar and select the end date of the time frame.
11. In my example, I have a revenue sales goal for the year for this property of 800,000. In the 'Target Revenue' field, enter 800000. The property currency will automatically default.
12. Click on 'Target Number of Rooms' and enter the room night goal
13. In my example, the sales goal for this property is 2200 room nights for the year. Enter 2200.
14. The 'Forecast' field represents the number you actually predict/forecast you will book in revenue. If you forecast you will book a different revenue than your target or goal enter it here.
15. Same for 'Forecast Number of Rooms'. Enter the number of room nights you predict, or forecast
16. There are other fields, that you can define depending on how detailed your property sales goals are: Accounting Category, Business Segment, and Sales Manager. You can leave them blank if this is not specified. Click on 'Save' when done.
Only the Thynk Admin can enter sales goals
You can enter monthly, quarterly or annual goals. Just use the correct start and end dates.
