How to Create Sales Goals in Thynk

In Thynk, Sales leaders can determine goals using the "Sales Goal" object in Thynk. Follow the instruction below to learn more: 

1. Search for Sales Goals in the App Launcher and click "New"

2. Sales goals must have a start and end date

3. Each sales leader can set their own date ranges.  Common ranges are monthly, quarterly, and annually.

4. Sales Goals can be assigned to a business segment. This enables goal setting based on business type. If you have selected a specific property, this list will be filtered to show you just the selected property's business segments.

5. Goals can also be assigned to specific sales managers.  If you choose to set property wide goals, you can leave this blank and enter a property instead.

6. Sales Managers must exist as Thynk users to have goals assigned

7. All properties you have access to will appear here.  If you have a sales manager with different goals for each property they sell into, you can create a sales goal that has both the sales manager and the specific property.

8. You can also assign an accounting category. If you have selected a specific property, this list will be filtered to show you just the selected property's accounting categories.

9. You can set room targets and forecasts as well as currency amount forecasts and targets.

10. The forecasts and targets will be currency fields while the number of rooms are numerical.
