Finding and Updating Goals

In another lesson, you have seen how to create sales goals in Thynk.  


From time to time, you may need to assist your leadership with updating goals, even though you typically set them up annually (or quarterly).  Because only the Thynk Admin can manage goals in Thynk, here are the instructions on how to update goals by market segments: 

  1. Click on the App Launcher

  1. Type 'sales goals' in the search field, and click on 'Sales Goals'

  1. Click on the down arrow on the right of the 'recently viewed'

  1. And click on 'All'

  1. Find the sales goal by market segment that you need to edit. You can also sort the column 'Business Segment' and scan through it there. In this example, click on the 'Sales Goal Name' FI-00000005.

  1. This opens up the sales goal. Click on the pencil icon to make changes to the 'Target Number of Rooms'

  1. Type the new number of rooms to be edited

  1. If you need to amend the Target Revenue, go into that box and type the new revenue figure in

  1. Make any other change and click on 'Save'
