Your New Inquiry is saved, what’s next?

Once you have saved you will be redirected to the saved inquiry’s page. You can add and edit lots of different information and in this article we will talk about adding & editing Inquiry Products (Corporate Products).

Inquiry Products

Please be aware that this can only be done after generating a new inquiry.

On your Inquiry you have the ability to add and edit Inquiry Products. This is to allow those who manage inquiries to include necessary products. However these products are based on 'Corporate Products', each linked to a specific Property Product. For example, 'Corporate Dinner' is linked to a property’s 'Dinner' product. This setup is especially useful for teams managing inquiries across properties. Then once an inquiry is converted, the selected property will have their linked version of the Corporate Products included in the booking.

If a Corporate Product is chosen but hasn't been linked to the property's specific version of that product, it won't show up on the booking once the conversion is done.

Create a Corporate Product:

  1. As an Admin search 'Corporate Products' on the App launcher
  2. Select ‘New’

  3. Enter the 'Corporate Products Name' and select the appropriate 'Type' (e.g., Name: Corporate Dinner, Type: Food).

  4. Search 'Products' on the App launcher.
  5. Choose the product you want to link with the Corporate Product (e.g., Dinner).
  6. There will be a field called ‘Corporate Product’ add the newly created Corporate Product.

Note: Each property can only link one product to one Corporate Product. Trying to add more will result in the following error message.

Best Practices for Corporate Products

  1. Start by checking with your Director of Sales, as your hotel may have strict policies on how to use Inquiries. The SOPs will provide guidance on when and how to add Events, Guest Rooms and Products.
  2. Ensure that each Corporate Product is linked to a Property Product
