How to edit an existing product
What happens to existing bookings when you edit a product
For example:
You can change pricing, and descriptions etc, and this will not impact any bookings with the edited product with past arrival dates.
If you edit a product for an existing booking with future arrival dates, the product will also still keep the old information.
When you edit a product and then create a brand new booking, the new product updates would show.
To edit a product, follow these steps:
At your Home page, go to the ‘Products’ tab. If you don’t have this, go to the apps and search for Products and click on it.
This opens the Recently Viewed Products screen. Click on ‘All Products’.
Find the product you wish to edit and click on it.
To see if this product has been used click on the ‘Related’ tab. Here you will see parentheses with a number, which means the product has been used in combo products, packages and bookings. If you have checked the implications of editing this product, and it’s okay to go ahead, go to the next step.
Click on the ‘Edit’ button on the top right of the product.
Make your changes and ‘Save’.
When you are asked to edit products, we recommend you remind your team about the implications, as they affect existing bookings using those products.
