How to Track a Contact who Works for more than One Agency/Company

Attaching a Contact to more than one Account

Sometimes a contact can work for more than one company or agency.  It’s important to track them in both places, however, instead of attaching (or relating) the same contact to more than one company, you will need to create the one contact separately in both accounts. 


Even though this may seem that you are adding a duplicate contact, there are several reasons for this approach: their email address, and job title may be different for each company they work for, and Reservations specific information may need to reside in the different accounts. 


In this case, follow these steps: 

  1. Create a contact in Account A first with all their details pertaining to Account A

  2. Create the same contact in Account B with the details pertaining to Account B





Best Practices for Handling Contacts working for more than one Account/Agency


  • When this occurs, you will need to create the contact under each separate account.

  • When the contact wants to book business, it will be important for you to book this under the correct account/agency.
