July 18th 2024 updates (1.111)
Thynk Core-App
Account - Address Synchronization with PMS
Previously the primary address on an Account wasn’t automatically updated when the Billing Address changed. Now you can expect that when you update your Billing Address on an Account the Primary Address will auto-populate accordingly.
Booking Product - Discount Handling
Previously when setting the Discount Amount to null on a Booking Product users would receive an error if a Discount Percentage value existed. The system now handles this scenario without errors, ensuring the Discount Percentage is also made null.
Booking - Long Text Note Field
We addressed an issue where text entered in the Note field on the Booking was overwritten by the Property’s template upon creation. The text entered by the user is now preserved, ensuring that this information is not lost.

July 5th 2024 updates (1.110)
Thynk Core-App
Account - Type changes
We’ve implemented a new mandatory rule that prevents changing the Accounts ‘Type’ once the account has a linked Inquiry or Booking.
This is to ensure that Accounts type ‘Agency’ and ‘Company’ remain visible in searches according to their type. If an account has no linked Inquiries or Bookings, you can still change the Account ‘Type’ accordingly.
Booking Product - Layout update
As part of our standard flow the fields ‘Unit Price’ and ‘Agreed Guests’ on the Booking Product always have a value populated, no matter the pricing type selected.
On our Thynk Managed Page the ‘Unit Price’ and ‘Agreed Guest’ depending on the ‘Pricing Type’ selected will show the required symbol (*). This can be used as a Best Practice to show and remind users which value is taken into account.
If Pricing type = Per Unit, the field ‘Unit Price’ shows as required.
If Pricing type = Per person, the field ‘Agreed Guests’ shows as required.
Customers should not expect any disturbance from this update, however if you would like this to be removed, please contact Thynk support.
Rate - Layout updates & improvements
Based on your feedback, we've introduced two new checkboxes on the Rates "City Tax Included" and "Breakfast Included”. These checkboxes are designed for manual use and are not linked to any automated logic.
Additionally, we have improved the functionality by allowing users to set the "Hide from Booking" checkbox to be selected by default, addressing another frequent request. If you would like to enable this feature, please contact Thynk support. Thynk Analytics
