February 2024 Product Updates

- We've resolved an error where inquiries with special characters couldn't be converted. The following characters can now be accepted !@#$%^&*()_-+=|{[}]';:"<>/?,.`~
- When a booking is created from an inquiry, once that booking is cloned we are also cloning the Inquiry & Inquiry Date. This has now been resolved, note Inquiry Date will show the date cloned.
Bookings
- Previously when cloning a Booking which included a Booking Product that was linked to an Event, the system would throw an error. Now the system will allow you to clone Bookings with those related records accordingly.
- We now allow you to adjust the arrival date to the future easily using the ‘Arrival Date’ field on the Booking page. This will only work if no Booking Packages, Booking Products, or Events exist past your new arrival date.
Note, if there are records existing past your new arrival date you will receive a message to use the 'Change Date Flow' feature.
Events
Overbooking Capabilities for Shareable Function Spaces
We've improved the functionality to now exclude overbooking on specific stages for shareable function spaces . Now, depending on your exclusion settings, you can confidently overbook into a shared function space at your predefined stage.
- Important to know, all booking events will be updated to reflect the Exclude overbooking on the stage defined in your org. Read more about overbooking here.
Function Diary
- If your property or booking name is long, you may have noticed it getting cut off in the Function Diary drop-down. Good news: we've fixed this, and now the drop-down shows the complete name for both properties and bookings.
- We've fixed a small issue with column alignment in the function diary, ensuring a cleaner look.
We've updated two fields on our Product's page layout, 'Price Incl. Tax' and the 'Price Excl. Tax'. We now require one or the other to be filled out. If one is filled the other will be calculated accordingly. Read more about Products

Revenue by Category Graph
We have added a dedicated chart in the finance tab within the booking page. The chart gives you an overview of the booking revenue distribution across different categories.
This chart, located at the top of the finance tab, gives you a visual breakdown of total revenue per revenue category for each day within the booking date range.
- The X-axis displays the date for each day in the booking date range, while the Y-axis illustrates the total revenue for each revenue category on that specific date.
